In 2020, Langley Lodge faced a challenge like no other, the COVID-19 global pandemic. Debra’s guidance, poise and leadership were critical to ensuring that the implementation of the best practices for infection control was undertaken. “Now that the Lodge has recovered from this experience, and the Society is ready to forge ahead with its previous strategic goals, I can resume my retirement plans, leaving the Lodge in good hands with our Board of Directors, the Leadership Team and of course, Aly Devji”, said Hauptman. “I have known Aly for many years, and I am excited that Aly is joining the team to lead Langley Lodge through its next stages of development.”
Aly Devji brings many years of experience leading large organizations. He is an influential leader, highly respected in our sector, and experienced collaborating with all levels of government and business leaders to create seniors living and wellness services for British Columbians. The Board will appreciate Aly as they restart their strategic planning and long-term goals for capital expansion and the introduction of new services for Langley.
A special thank you to all the residents and families of Langley Lodge, past and present. Debra has had the opportunity to meet and work with some family members over the years, especially those who have volunteered, joined Family Council and participated in regular socials at the Lodge. The ongoing support from residents and families has made her experience at Langley Lodge a truly memorable one.
We thank you for your ongoing support.
