Adult Day Programs (ADP) are an important part of the health care continuum. They support elders to remain in their own homes as long as possible by providing a variety of therapeutic and supportive services to seniors and their families. Adult Day Program is designed to support several core areas of wellbeing.
In short, respite care is meant to give caregivers a temporary reprieve from the emotional and physical demands of caring for a loved one, as well as provide a chance for elders to participate in community activities.
The Seniors Peer Outreach Program is a volunteer-driven service that provides person-to-person outreach to connect with isolated and at-risk seniors in our community.
The project is funded by the generous donations of our community given to the Langley Care Foundation.
