The auxiliary is a group of caring, dedicated volunteers whose generosity of both time and fundraising efforts enables the residents to experience an enhanced quality of life.
As a group they enjoy camaraderie and fun while raising money for resident comforts. For example, at Christmas, every resident receives a gift that has been personally selected and gift wrapped with the loving hands of our Auxiliary.
Auxiliary members come together to support the Lodge in creating a home-like environment all year round with seasonal offerings that help the staff to truly provide a caring living space.
Auxiliary events
Known for a wide range of successful fundraising and community building ventures, the auxiliary runs fundraising activities for resident comforts. Regular events include:
- New-2-U Clothing Boutique (consignment clothes, shoes & jewelry),
- New-2-U Household Sale (household items for kitchen & bath, toys, artwork, lamps, linens, etc)
- Book sales
- Christmas Decorating at the Lodge
The auxiliary is always looking for new ways to generate volunteer support and effective fundraising opportunities in support of the Lodge. So whether you have two hours or more to spare a month or wish to participate in our seasonal fundraisers we would love to have you join the auxiliary team.
